Smoking

Unused designs I created for “Smoking” rolling paper contest. The goal was to redesign Mr. Smoking, the main mascot from 1879 as to appeal to the millenial audience. The contest called for 1 principal illustration and 6 additional pictures that would feature Mr. Smoking in different contexts (Extreme Sports, Icon of the Urban Tribe, Social Media, Street Art, Rock Concert, Friendship). Even though my contest entry was rejected, I kinda like the overall result as I really did my best and had dedicated three months of my personal time to complete it. More on Tumblr.

Comic Panels...

Three panels of 8 total I was commissioned to produce for the Serbian Commissioner for Protection of Equality office in 2014 and 2015.

Hippo madness

These two were done as gifts for my girlfriend. She's mad for hippos for some reason. The first pic features her fave tennis player Novak Đoković and her pekehund Mimi (RIP!). The second one wasn't supposed to turn out so sinister looking: it was only when I finished the rendering I realized it resembles the iconic scene from Coppola's "Apocalypse Now" in which Martin Sheen rises from the water, so I decided to name it "Hippocalypse Now".

Freaky-Kids

Just some illustrations I did for a commissioned project. I am rarely satisfied with commissioned artwork, but these turned out surprisingly decent, so I'm posting them, what the heck!

Vekovnici + Beskrvni

Two commissioned covers for two related projects. 1.) Cover art for an episode ("Stayin' Alive") of "Bloodless" comic book created and written by Marko Stojanović. Published in Serbia by System Comics. 2.) The colored version of the pencil illustration I was asked to do for the cover of "Vekovnici" Sketchbook #4. I previously did a 3-page sequential for a "Vekovnici" book in 2010, published by System Comics.

Sajber Strip

The original water color cover art for the Egon Bondy novel "Cyber Strip" published in Serbia by Zepter Book World in 2003. Unfortunatelly, the cover designer ruined my work completely by applying some horrible Photoshop filter and converting the title to cyrilics...

I did the back cover too, but was never returned the original artwork. Also, in addition to having my artwork ruined, I was never payed by the publisher...
